Module 2: Polynomial Expressions & Equations develops students’ ability to work with polynomial expressions, operations, and equations. Students explore the structure of polynomials and build fluency with simplifying, multiplying, factoring, and solving polynomial relationships.

Throughout the module, students learn how polynomial expressions are classified and how operations can be used to rewrite and solve algebraic relationships. Students investigate factoring strategies, including greatest common factors and trinomials, as tools for solving polynomial equations and modeling real-world situations.

By the end of this module, students will be able to simplify polynomial expressions, factor polynomial equations, solve algebraic problems, and apply polynomial models to mathematical and real-world contexts.
