Module 1: Functions & Algebraic Foundations develops students’ understanding of advanced functions and algebraic relationships. Students strengthen their ability to analyze, represent, and interpret functions using equations, graphs, tables, and real-world models.

Throughout the module, students review function notation, domain and range, and linear relationships before extending their understanding to quadratic and polynomial functions. Students explore how transformations affect function behavior and begin developing foundational ideas about inverse functions and function modeling.

By the end of this module, students will be able to analyze different types of functions, interpret graphs and equations, describe function transformations, and model real-world relationships using mathematical representations.
