Module 4: Systems, Exponents & Polynomial Operations expands students’ algebraic thinking by introducing systems of equations and developing fluency with polynomial expressions. Students learn how multiple equations can represent relationships between variables and how different strategies can be used to find solutions.

Throughout the module, students explore systems of linear equations using graphs, substitution, and elimination methods. Students also strengthen their understanding of exponents, learn polynomial vocabulary, and perform operations with polynomials, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and introductory factoring.

By the end of this module, students will be able to solve systems of equations, manipulate polynomial expressions, apply algebraic strategies, and use mathematical models to represent real-world situations.
