Module 1: Ratios, Rates & Number Relationships introduces students to the mathematical language of comparing quantities and understanding relationships between values. Students explore how ratios, rates, and unit rates are used to describe relationships in mathematics and real-world situations.

Throughout the module, students learn how to represent ratios in multiple ways, identify equivalent ratios, create and interpret ratio tables and graphs, and solve problems involving unit rates and percentages. Students develop proportional reasoning skills that serve as a foundation for future learning in algebra, geometry, probability, and financial mathematics.
