Trigonometry & Periodic Functions develops students’ understanding of trigonometric relationships and periodic behavior through the study of angles, the unit circle, and trigonometric functions. Students explore how sine, cosine, and tangent model repeating patterns and solve problems involving triangles, circular motion, and real-world phenomena.
Throughout the module, students investigate radian measure, graph trigonometric functions, analyze transformations, solve trigonometric equations, and apply the Law of Sines and Law of Cosines. These concepts prepare students for calculus, physics, engineering, and other STEM disciplines.
