Advanced Functions & Mathematical Modeling develops students’ understanding of advanced function concepts and their applications to real-world situations. Students investigate multiple function families, analyze their behavior, and interpret relationships using graphs, equations, tables, and mathematical models.
Throughout the module, students explore function transformations, domain and range, composite and inverse functions, and polynomial behavior while strengthening algebraic reasoning and problem-solving skills. Emphasis is placed on using mathematics to model authentic situations and communicate quantitative relationships effectively.
Grade Level: Grade 12
