Functions & Mathematical Relationships introduces students to the concept of functions and how mathematical relationships can be represented in multiple ways. Students explore how variables interact, how functions describe patterns, and how tables, graphs, equations, and verbal descriptions communicate relationships.

Throughout the module, students develop skills in identifying functions, analyzing domain and range, using function notation, and interpreting real-world relationships. Students learn how functions provide a foundation for modeling situations in science, business, technology, and everyday life.
