Grade Level: Grade 10
Duration: 5 Weeks
Focus:
Solving algebraic relationships and interpreting solutions. Students develop skills in solving equations and inequalities, representing real-world situations algebraically, analyzing solution sets, and applying algebraic reasoning to practical problems.
Equations & Inequalities develops students’ ability to solve algebraic relationships and interpret mathematical solutions. Students learn how equations and inequalities represent relationships between quantities and how algebra can be used to describe and solve real-world situations.
Throughout the module, students build fluency with one-step and multi-step equations, equations with variables on both sides, literal equations, and linear inequalities. Students learn to analyze solutions, represent inequalities on number lines, and apply algebraic reasoning to problem-solving situations.
