Module 6: Mathematical Reasoning & Mastery brings together the major concepts learned throughout Grade 7 mathematics while strengthening students’ problem-solving, reasoning, and communication skills. Students review key topics including the number system, proportional relationships, percent applications, algebraic expressions and equations, geometry, probability, and statistics through meaningful investigations and real-world scenarios.

Throughout the module, students solve multi-step problems that require combining multiple mathematical concepts, selecting efficient strategies, and justifying their solutions. Students engage in STAAR-style practice and performance tasks that reinforce critical thinking, accuracy, and mathematical confidence.

By the end of this module, students will demonstrate mastery of Grade 7 mathematics and be well prepared for Grade 8 mathematics and state assessments.
