Module 3: Fractions & Mixed Numbers develops students’ fraction fluency and reasoning skills by expanding their understanding of fractions beyond basic concepts. Throughout the module, students learn strategies for adding and subtracting fractions with unlike denominators, converting between mixed numbers and improper fractions, and multiplying fractions by whole numbers. Students use visual models, number lines, and equations to explain their thinking and develop confidence solving complex fraction problems.

By the end of this module, students will be able to apply fraction concepts accurately, explain their reasoning, and solve real-world problems involving fractional quantities.
