Module 2: Multiplication & Division Strategies develops students’ ability to solve complex computation problems using efficient and accurate strategies. Students expand their understanding of multiplication and division by working with larger numbers, analyzing patterns, and applying properties to simplify calculations.

Throughout the module, students learn multiple methods for multiplying multi-digit whole numbers, dividing larger numbers using long division strategies, and interpreting remainders in meaningful ways. Students also practice estimation techniques to check whether solutions are reasonable and develop strategies for solving multi-step problems.

By the end of this module, students will be able to confidently apply multiplication and division skills to complex mathematical situations and real-world challenges.
